Short version: nothing on this website is a booking. These terms cover the site itself. The terms that govern a confirmed trip arrive with your written quotation.
What this website is
The journeys described here are sample itineraries, written to show the kind of trip we put together. They are not offers, and browsing or enquiring commits you to nothing. A journey exists only once we have sent you a written quotation and you have accepted it.
Prices
No prices are published on this site. What a journey costs depends on your dates, how many of you there are and the standard of accommodation you want, so we quote in writing once we know those things rather than advertising a figure we would have to revise.
Booking, deposits and cancellation
The terms that apply to a confirmed booking, including what is payable and when, and what happens if you change or cancel, are set out in the written quotation we send you. Read them before you accept. Nothing on this page overrides them.
What you arrange yourself
Passports, visas and travel insurance are yours to sort out. Most visitors apply for Sri Lanka's ETA online before travelling. We strongly recommend comprehensive travel insurance for any trip.
When a route has to change
Weather, road conditions, and hotel or park availability sometimes force a change to a planned day. Where that happens we will tell you as soon as we know and put the closest alternative we can arrange in front of you.
Accuracy of this site
We keep the itineraries and descriptions here current, but details at the places we visit change without telling us. If something on this site matters to your decision, ask us to confirm it before you book.
